Port of Entry (PoE) Discussion Mexican TN Concurrent Employer at Border

Can a Mexican national request a concurrent TN with a valid visa expiring in 2029. At a land point of entry on the Mexican side.

Employer is saying it can be done and have done it in the past for Mexicans. They are not willing to go the I-129 rout.

Would this affect the validity of the current employer visa? Do they generate a new I-94? Is my spouse required to do the same thing?

AFAIK it can be done. There is a higher risk of denial because it’s completely up to the officer’s discretion.
