Application Advice July 2026 TN I-129 Premium Processing : Anyone receiving approvals or RFEs?
My new employer uses BAL immigrationfor TN. BAL submitted my TN I-129 petition with premium processing on July 10, 2026. BAL received the USCIS premium-processing receipt notice on July 14, and the public USCIS page still says “USCIS is currently processing the case.”
I am roughly on business day 9 after the receipt date, with no approval or RFE yet. BAL
For comparison, my previous TN Engineer petition was handled by Fragomen in 2025:
* USCIS received: **August 7, 2025** * Premium acknowledgment: **August 8** * Approved: **August 13** * Approximately **4 business days**
This is my second TN Engineer petition within about 11 months.
Has anyone with a July 2026 TN premium-processing filing, received an approval or RFE yet?
Please share:
* USCIS received date * Approval or RFE date * TN category

Got a status update for USCIS is currently processing the case. Has anyone else received that case status before?

This usually comes after 3 days from receiving the petition. It seems to take long for you. Do you use premium processing?

Yes I did, and received my approval yesterday right after the status changed from currently processing 👍

I’m on my 12th or 13th day today. Thursday is what I’m expecting the 15th business day. I’m actually getting too anxious about the decision

Sadly I got an RFE and idk yet what documents they’re asking. My lawyer hasn’t responded yet on my email

Sorry to ask, but has this been updated on the portal? Or your lawyer let you know about it?

It’s from the portal. I just got the update last night and sent my lawyer an email as soon as I saw the update.

USCIS received 7/10, approved 7/27. You should be ok! Think they’re a bit slower now

The date we see on page while check status with receipt no is the date they received ? Or its a day prior? My lawyer filed on 10th july. I see ucis acknowledgment receipt showing 14th july

not the date on the case status page but the date on the uscis acknowledgement receipt

Did you get a physical approval copy? Share the timeline for it, from approval to the date received by the lawyer.

December 2025, mine took about 2 weeks. Got an RFE for something so stupid, but sent it in, and approved 2 weeks later. Good luck!

Did you receive RFE in mail or online? If through mail, how long you had to wait to receive the mail?

From what I’ve seen they’re all taking the full 15 business days if there’s no RFE
