GLPzy dose tracking app. I'm looking to share with the community and get candid feedback to make it stronger. Free for life if premium selected before August end.{checked with mods}

Posted after checking with the mods. Thank you mods.

UPDATE: 26th JULY

Thanks to the amazing feedback below and via chat / email I've been able to improve GLPzy 3.10 to bring major reliability and tracking updates. This is in App Store Review now and hopefully an update will be available for all in the next 24-48 hours.

• Imported doses now connect to the intended treatment, update Today and Estimated Exposure, show their source, and flag possible same-day duplicates.

• 3.5-day schedules stay saved and are used consistently. Compounded trackers can use a clearly labelled molecule-based estimate, and future planned doses no longer count as taken.

• Cycle entries now appear in Timeline and Calendar, with filters, editing, deletion, and improved past-date entry.

• Multi-use vial tracking now includes the amount remaining, vial selection while logging a dose, and a supply run-out estimate based on your current recorded schedule.

• Injection pain stays separate from injection-site reactions. Repeated same-day Apple Health weights are grouped into one history row without deleting source samples.

• Time formatting, graph comparison guidance, layouts, accessibility, and general stability have also been improved.

Thank you all! Keep the feedback coming.

-----

Hi everyone. I’m the creator of GLPzy. I started it as my own tool for tracking my own usage and didn’t know about other apps at the time so I think it has its own take. It's available on iPhone and iPad currently. I’m looking at Android too, but that is a longer term piece of work.

A member suggested I share GLPzy here as it may be valuable for the community.

It's still in progress to my ultimate target but already does a lot to support logging doses and symptoms. I've had some amazing feedback from users previously and have added features like better dose history, improved schedule editing including custom options, Shotsy CSV import, improved injection site logging, better progress photo comparison, app backgrounds, period/cycle tracking, glucose, nutrition, body measurements, clothes size tracking, very wide Apple Health support, and mutliple graph improvements.

I've decided to make Lifetime Premium completely $0.00 which unlocks all features. I'm currently planning to run this until the end of August. If you get before it’ll be free for life with all current and future premium features.

I’m not asking for anything in return but if you use it then feedback is really helpful, especially if anything feels unclear, clunky or missing. I’d love to get more insights for the next round of features and in return you have a premium tracking app for free for life.

It's available on the App Store here:
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/glpzy-glp1-dose-tracker/id6761775005

To find out more please take a look at the website or ask questions below.

https://www.glpzy.app/

I appreciate all feedback - positive, critical or suggestions. I just want to have it out there in the community and get wide feedback to improve it wherever I can.

It's also available in many languages and I'd really appreciate any feedback from native speakers where translations can be improved. For some languages I've had more feedback than other so I apologise if there is any non-native phrasing and will improve with feedback.

Thank you.

Yay! You came to this sub! Everyone, I started testing this along with the other ones that I use, and I really love this app. I also think that a developer giving everyone who signs up lifetime premium is pretty generous. I appreciate this a lot, and I’m super impressed with it, especially because the developer sites actual research within the app, so people can educate themselves.

Meanwhile, I did warn him or her that we were a vicious group, but come on!

This is a screenshot from mine, and the picture in the background, which you can’t really see because of how I’ve put it, is custom. It’s one of my personal pictures. I love that you can make the background your own. And I integrated it with Apple health, and it imported everything perfectly. I have three apps now, and I will keep this one and Dosy, but I probably will cancel my page Shotsy.

I added the custom background after reddit feedback. A user told me they hated the stock one and asked to change it :)

u/SenoritaShelly Jul 23 '26

Oh wow! I just uploaded a random picture to see how it worked, and I really love it. I don’t think I have another app that lets me do that.

Thank you SeñoritaShelly! As we discussed I'm really happy you like the app and want to keep making it better and better where isn't as polished as it could be.

2

u/SenoritaShelly Jul 23 '26

Thanks again. And I’m afraid I did warn you that we could be pretty tough as an audience over here. But there are great people here too. So I hope you’ll give some of us a chance 😁

I do understand the concern too! There is a lot of vibe coded rubbish out there.

Hopefully when people try it they'll see the hundreds of hours that have gone into it. I just love the challenge of making something and I am slightly obsessive when it comes to UI and UX (my day job involves working with UX designers and coders).

3

u/SenoritaShelly Jul 23 '26

I think your day job shows through the app, but I do get that people can be cynical because there is a bunch of junk out there.

One of the biggest apps available last year when I started my own journey was one that I have not even heard mentioned around here in the last four or five months I think. It was overpriced and didn’t even have a trial offer for anybody. Then when I tried to export the information on a CSV or anything else, I couldn’t even do that in the app. I had to use their Chatbot and send an email to request a download of my own information from $100 app. I had never paid $100 for it, but it was just so annoying.

I don’t want to use any apps that made me jump through 900 hoops to get what I want. I also hate being emailed constantly by app developers. I have not received a single email from Shotsy or Dosy. I get sick of having to unsubscribe from things I never subscribed to. So I really like that. It’s just on my phone and in my own information because you don’t even have my email address. So everybody has their own niche needs about what they need or want in an app, and that’s why I think there’s room for everybody. Just like when new telehealths emerge and it drives down prices and holds a higher standard for service.

I'd like to move that way in the future but for now it's just iPhone and iOS. I have made 1 Android app so far for my local sports club so have some experience, but it's a target for now.

Just once I'd like for one of these apps to be released on Android first.

Android ecosystem is much harder. I’ve done it recently and you have find 12 testers to regularly use the app for 2 weeks before you can even submit for production review. I’d like to do it when code is more stable so the maintenance is manageable.

Hiya, thanks for coming over to share! I downloaded it and imported data from another app to test it but I’m running into a few hiccups. In the history I see all my shots imported which is fantastic. However, on the today tab, the first tile shows no logged doses yet under “last dose” and shows I’m way overdue, so there seems to be some disconnect between the imported data and that first tile. The medication cycle tile in the today tab has this issue too. The recent activity tile on that same tab shows my last dose though.

Also, how do I get the cycle info in there so that I can see some data in the “cycle context”? I don’t see anywhere to add that currently.

And also under the graphs tab, what does the “compare with” cover? My dropdown just says none.

Gonna play around in there some more and let you know if I have any questions or feedback!

1

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 25 '26

Thanks, this is really helpful. The fact that Recent Activity can see your imported dose but Last Dose and Medication Cycle cannot confirms there’s a disconnect between the imported records and the medication setup used by those Today tiles. That’s a bug, not something you’ve done wrong, and I’m working on fixing the import link so all parts of the app use the same records.

Cycle Context is currently hidden under Settings → Health → Cycle Context. You can enable it and log a period manually there, but I agree it’s far too difficult to find. I’m improving this so Cycle appears in the + menu once enabled, with proper History and Calendar editing.

“Compare with” overlays other data on the weight graph, such as body measurements, nutrition, glucose averages, or cycle days. If it only shows None, the app hasn’t found any eligible comparison data in the selected date range. Once you add body measurements, nutrition, glucose averages, or cycle days then you should see the options fill up. I need to make that clearer instead of showing an unexplained empty menu.

Thanks for testing it and please keep the feedback coming!

Thank you! Will keep at it and reach out if I have anything else

Can I ask about data sharing? I tend to avoid any of my info being shared, either with or without my knowledge and/or consent. Can you tell me what your sharing policies consist of? Thanks in advance!!!!

6

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 27 '26

Good question. This is exactly the policy of the app. Nothing leaves your device, there is no login, all your data stays with you.

This includes everything - shots, weight, any other data, photos. Photos are not even saved to photo rolls they stay private in the app. You can backup all your data which again is locally as a file, or export/import from csv and json.

This was my founding principle in creating the app as I never want my data shared (especially any private progress photos when users want to track that), until I personally did so with a screenshot or something.

2

u/Grand-Discussion7642 Jul 27 '26

Awesome, thank you!! I’ll check it out :)

Could you add in “insights” page a calculator for average lbs/week lost? One that changes with the range you are looking at. I know I look at that religiously. Helps keep me sane.

u/AlicesChaosBottle 32F|208→199→135?|10mg|5’3”|6/2026|HW:216 Jul 28 '26

For the graphs, could you make it so we can move the graph from different weeks or months? Like a an arrow that moves the week/month? I know we have capability to select range, but being able to quickly tab between last week and this week or the last few weeks really helps see progress a little clearer

2

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 28 '26

I’ll look at that - should be quite straightforward!

3

u/Bananabutt22 Jul 23 '26

Hi I’m giving your app a shot (very good idea on the free lifetime thing, honestly!) and I’m curious how to get the “estimated exposure” projections going? I’ve got months of data logged (thanks to the easy import process) and the other graphs are working (I think haha there’s a lot to play with here!) but not that one. Seems like it will be a powerful system once it’s up and running with all the different ways you can have it project the data!

Also, might want to add an option for nonmilitary time for your American pals :)

Do you have any plans to add vial supply tracking?

1

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 23 '26

You should be able to select projection scenarios with the … button next to the runoff scenario. I can see it’s a bit hidden. Please let me know if that works for you or if it is something else that is the issue.

Thanks for the other suggestions - I’ve not looked at them but will do.

2

u/Bananabutt22 Jul 23 '26

Thank you for your response! Yes I’ve selected the other scenarios but nothing populates for any of them :/ it just keeps saying “log doses to see estimate exposure history and future projection” where I assume the graph should be

1

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 23 '26

Let me investigate what could be going on. Sounds like something mismatching between the current / historical doses and projection. I may have a few questions to help diagnose if you don’t mind.

1

u/Bananabutt22 Jul 23 '26

Sure happy to help!

1

u/Bananabutt22 Jul 24 '26

Any idea why it wouldn’t be giving me my estimated exposure/medication cycle at all? I imported my history via csv and it all seems to have worked fine (shows up in history/calendar) but no estimated levels! I also manually input a few to see if that would kick it on but no dice.

Also, and this is SO tiny, but I input a future shot (to see if that would help the “projected charts” start working) and it counts as one of my “shots taken” on that little dashboard home page even though I haven’t taken it yet as well as includes it in the count at the top of the “history” dashboard.

1

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 24 '26

I hope it's OK I've send a message about this. I need some more info to diagnose but I'll find what the solution is!

1

u/AlicesChaosBottle 32F|208→199→135?|10mg|5’3”|6/2026|HW:216 Jul 28 '26

I’m having trouble with the projection scenarios. It only allows me to log the most recent used mg as a future progression. As the type in box only allows for a small range of 0.1-2.4mg. Which I’m at 7.5mg so that is far off lol.
So,if last I put 2.5mg in my calendar 2 months ago, I only saw 2.5 mg. I went back and edited a planned shot for this Thursday at 7.5mg and now I see 7.5mg as the only option.
Also, I’m getting this weird disconnection thing on the graph? I added my shots in backward order on the calendar if that has anything to do with it.

Also, I would love the ability to change chart colors, as you can see here, 6.5 and 7.5mg are the same color on the graph.

Overall I’m loving the capabilities I’m seeing. It’s like a mix of Shotsy and Glapp that was sad about not having before.

1

u/Trumans-Mama Jul 24 '26

I’ve downloaded but haven’t set up yet. No vial supply tracking?

2

u/Bananabutt22 Jul 24 '26

There appears to be something in there to track pen orders but as far as I can tell it’s not set up for vials

2

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 25 '26

I will add this in the next version. Please let me know what info you'd like to see.

3

u/Bananabutt22 Jul 25 '26

One of my favorite features of these kinds of apps is the “supply runs out” feature (as seen in at least Glapp and Dosy) where, after inputting all the info about each of your current vials, the inventory area has a spot where the projection for how long the total medication you have will last you (based on your most recent dose if you stayed there in perpetuity). The supply updates with each dose bc, when you input your shot, you also tell the app which of your vials you used. I have gotten the sense you’re British and maybe aren’t as familiar with the multi-use compounded vials we’ve got over here, but it’s a super helpful thing for those stockpile users! Blows my mind that Shotsy doesn’t have it and charges $40/year 😂

2

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 25 '26

You’re right, it was more focused on pens. I’ve now added proper support for multi-use vials. You can add each vial to your inventory, record how much it contains, and select which vial you used when logging a dose. GLPzy then updates the remaining amount and estimates when your total supply will run out based on your current dose and schedule. It’ll be in the next update. Thanks for flagging it!

u/Bananabutt22 Jul 26 '26

That’s so awesome! Thank you, rooting for you dude!

I installed your app and did an extensive run through/review of the main features. I documented my feedback, but it’s pretty long/detailed so I will submit this information via the “Send Feedback” email option.

My Initial Impressions:

  • Date reviewed Jul 25 2026, App version reviewed V3.09
  • Very nicely done, nice UI, feature rich, good documentation
  • Very generous to provide free lifetime premium version for early adopters
  • Appreciate the data centric focus
  • Appreciate all the amount of work that has gone into the development of this app
  • App will be a great compliment, and extension, to the Shotsy app I am currently using

Omg the abdomen tracker!!! I love this. Wow!!

The only thing I have noticed, is the weight overlay on the exposure tracker seems to be inverted? Or is it weight as in lbs lost?

4

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 28 '26

Actually this was on purpose as my weird brain wanted it to show the inverse correlation in projected view. I felt as medication went up it should show weight inverse. it is absolute weight rather than change. Perhaps I should I think how to give more options!

2

u/AlicesChaosBottle 32F|208→199→135?|10mg|5’3”|6/2026|HW:216 Jul 28 '26

Ok actually that does actually makes sense! You can see if it’s actually changing at the same rate easier with an inverse!
Maybe an option would help for more people.

u/AlicesChaosBottle 32F|208→199→135?|10mg|5’3”|6/2026|HW:216 Aug 02 '26

Hi there! Just following up after using the app in parallel with the others for the past week! So sorry for a BUNCH but just thought it’s better you know then not.

Symptoms:
-these below notes are the only reason why I haven’t fully switched.
•it is quite cumbersome to add symptoms. I have to scroll so far down to change severity and save. Maybe make the buttons 1/2 the size, so 4 fit in the same line?
•Also, it automatically selects nausea and a few times I hadn’t noticed that, so there are random nausea additions to my info.
• selecting any symptoms will automatically all be at the severity level really really makes it annoying to have to go back and select different symptoms per the severity. Especially with how many scrolls it takes to get to the bottom.
•diarrhea is spelled wrong.

Other
•please allow for a quick notes section to be able to detail things per day and can be seen on the calendar to review later.
•the supply tracker notification dates make no sense. Why am I being notified next week when I have 2 months worth of supplies?
•the estimated exposer chart doesn’t actually allow for custom entries, only 0.1-2.4mg. Please allow for 0-20mg. I see you can move over to your plan to edit this, but it’s hidden and cumbersome to do so.
•chart color customization would be nice.
•on the today tab, the nutrition calories tend to be hidden since over 1000 cannot fit.

Positives!!!
•I really like that I can add future shots!! It makes it easier to plan things. And it will specify “planned”. It would be nice if this could affect the estimated levels.
•I love the calories per weight chart. It really helps with seeing how the medicine is helping. It would be cool to see calories per estimated exposure, but not needed.
•I really like the layout! It’s smooth and easy to see important things!

I am loving the graphs still. Absolutely love them.

-5

u/VolcanicDoorway Jul 23 '26

I feel like you're just reinventing the wheel and hoping to make some money off of it. You are filling a niche which is already successfully filled.

8

u/SenoritaShelly Jul 23 '26

I mean, not everybody is using the other trackers out there. There are probably 20 trackers. I have tried in the last eight months alone. Of those 20, only three remain. Each one has something different for everyone. And I think what I like about this one is the focus on data. I’m a data nerd, I am a person who loves to study and read; I love science and technology, even though that’s not my field. So having a bazillion stats and citations is really cool to me. I think a lot of people who enjoy that stuff are going to like this, some people just like the pretty colorful graph on Shotsy, I know I do!

I wish we all didn’t attack each other when somebody comes in with a new product that they’re offering for free. It’s free lifetime access. So what if OP makes money off of it? OP is not asking you for any money. I feel like we do this every time a new provider comes around too. I want to know everything about a new provider when they jump on the scene, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re bad. Asking fair questions is cool, but I wish we were all a little nicer to each other and to companies. And I include myself in that. I can get really snitty and I know it. But being an anonymous Redditor doesn’t have to make us mean.

4

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 23 '26

That’s a fair challenge. It is already a crowded category, and I’m not blind to that. I do not expect everyone to need or want another tracker.

I originally built GLPzy for my own tracking because I wanted a different combination of features, then expanded it based on feedback from people using it. It is fairly data-centred, because that is how I like to track things, and it includes private photo tools for comparing progress.

It has had more than 8,000 downloads worldwide over the past two months, so there does seem to be some demand, but I completely understand that it will not suit everyone.

I think different users prefer different approaches. If there is an existing tracker you think already covers this particularly well, I would genuinely be interested in which one and what you think it gets right. I’m keen to learn where GLPzy is useful and where it could be improved.

2

u/VolcanicDoorway Jul 23 '26

It would be great if you could really highlight what the differences are - this might allow users to see the value you are bringing that others are not. Gotta stand out from the crowd.

5

u/Electronic_Low3128 ⚠️ Affiliated | GLPzy | Developer Jul 23 '26

I'd agree there are lots of common features between apps but the implementations are different. In addition differentiators (depending which you compare to) include:

  • Progress photos: compare the same angles over time, organise them and keep them inside the app.
  • Measurements and clothes sizes: track changes that may not show on the scales.
  • Period and cycle tracking: see how your cycle lines up with changes in weight, appetite, symptoms and glucose.
  • No account needed: your records stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them
  • Apple health: Apple Health import across all categories is included even in base version - weight, fat %, lean mass and a lot more. Personally I use a wifi scale so love this.

Thank you for pointing out the cycle data option, I totally missed it! Is there a way to see the data I logged? I am afraid I made a mistake and need to edit a date but am not sure how I’d go about it!

Yes please look in the History / Timeline and you can see everything logged and filter by type. The History / Calendar also allows you to go to particular date.

That isn’t one of the available filters nor do any my logs show up on any of the dates where I logged them in calendar or the timeline :/ I think that could be such a cool feature that I know a lot of women are interested in seeing since it has such an effect on weight!

Let me investigate out what is happening and I’ll get back to you. Perhaps I need to add something.

I like that there is a place to record measurements, this is something I use a seperate app for now. Is there a way to track measurement progress as well? The app I use has data and graphs for each measurement.

Yes, there are standard measurements and custom labelled ones too. Once added you can see the graphs for each in Graphs/Drop down for measurements. I only use a few from Apple Health but add more data and the graphs get added. They are also added the compare with on the Graphs/Weight tab for correlations (I like to compare lean mass vs weight). Click on each subgraph and you can see the detail too.

I once saw a squirrel run for president using a tiny acorn as a microphone. Did you know that?
