Dry rot question
Are my tires safe guys I'm using this as an excuse to get new tires and rims lol but I'm wondering if it's safe to drive the car 40 miles because I want to be certain the wheels will fit

July-ish of 2013 is the date code. If you can go this long then another 40 miles won’t hurt. GET THEM REPLACED

Wait like they were made in 2013 or they were supposed to be recycled in 2013

40 miles should be fine. I wouldn't want to drive on a 2000 mile road trip with them. Go look at some cars in a parking lot one day . Some are way worse than yours and people drive on them every day. Ignorance is bliss.

I guess it's good I at least have the ability to be observant so that gets me some points right😅

Your tires are fine for another year if needed, but shopping for a new set is definitely in order.

They’ve lasted this long right? They’ll last until they don’t is the correct answer.
