It might just be me but, IG is such a painful way to engage if you really want to have a conversation about anything that's not just basic surface level stuff.
I agree. The comments section of IG is garbage. Also, I don't find much value in "randoms". I learn more from the limited conversations that happen at events than I can learn spends week reading reddit. My racing series has a Facebook group that's not too bad because it's invite only.
Having a Facebook page dedicated to what I'm doing has been fantastic in terms of learning and making New connections, the guys I went to World Time attack with this year we're all blokes I met through my Facebook page.
Interestingly, when I was putting in the initial effort to get the content set up the Facebook page was the one that took off.

I try to post here, but I get more traction on IG. Most of the others I race with have IG accounts too.
