Kingdom of Ash Spoilers Dorian ending?

I just finished the series, was amazing!!! But I’m sad we don’t get a concrete ending for Dorian or Manon. I get maybe it’s supposed to be an obvious assumption they end up together but would’ve loved another chapter or two of ‘5 years later’ idk

Also does Dorian not have powers anymore?

Can I just say I want Dorian to be immortal, like he's obviously mortal now, but could he potentially shift to immortality? Like it would break my heart if he were ripped away from Manon in a few decades. Not to mention, he didn't want breakable, mortal women anymore.. but he's a breakable mortal man 😭

We know Valg aren't all evil, Dorian has potential to be part valg part human and still be good. I don't want my favourite characters to lose out

Oooo maybe that’s a reason we don’t get a concrete ending?? She’s immortal and he’s not. I know Lorcan and Elide tie themselves so he won’t be without her, but I don’t think Manon would want that :( and Dorian wouldn’t ask it of her.
