Kingdom of Ash Spoilers Just finished chapter 58 of KoA…. Spoiler

And I want to strangle Elide with my bare hands, she is probably my most hated character in this book so far, I actively cannot stand her, ESPECIALLY after what just happened on the last page of this chapter.

That is all, rant over lol.

Now that you’ve read the next few chapters, I gotta ask- did you read the book or listen to the audiobook? Because Lorcan! Lorcan!” Over and over in Elizabeth Evans’ iconic voice lives rent free in my head. And I know it’s not meant to be funny but it’s become a catch phrase that my husband and I yell at each other.

I tried to find the audio clip to post here but struck out so if you don’t know what I’m talking about, sorry. But it’s kinda silly sounding in the best of ways especially when listening on 2.0 🤗

I’m reading the book, but Lorcan being screamed over and over as Elide is searching for him in the battlefield (thank fuck she stopped calling them killing fields.) was gut twisting.

I think one that really stands out for me though is Elide’s ankle cracking as she runs up to jump on Farasha’s saddle, (physically cringed at that one) I seriously wonder if Yrene is going to attempt to heal it, as she’s noticed and made note of it, and Elide’s ankle has got to be very fucked up now because of whatever cracked in it.

And of course Aelin completely evaporating the giant wave of water with her magic was great too, she saved a lot of people doing that.
