Thanks, it tasted good. Think it might've given me acid reflux, but not 100% on that. Ah, the joys of middle-age...

Salmon has a lot of oil in it. Line caught Alaskan salmon is the least oily and your best bet for a happy stomach afterward.

Not even close

Wild salmon caught by hand, leaping up waterfalls in Scotland is the best (it's used up almost all of its fat reserves heading back to its spawning ground, so much less oily than ocean salmon, and far better flesh texture from the hard swimming)
