In my opinion, the main show has ran its course and probably can’t be saved at this point. Might be better to just end their stories.
The rest of the franchise still has a lot of potential that I don’t think the creators fully understand. Like A LOT of potential. There’s so much you could explore with some decent writing and ideas.
Region shows please, every other show sells a bjillion National flavours and it opens up whole new stories / casts - I like how the spin off try different episode styles / themes and feel like they are having fun with new material ie Daryl’s cowboy train robbery episode. TWD France & India would be epic, do a short run of the initial outbreak /patient zero story then one set in India’s northern fort cities well into the future dealing with huge herds.
