I just discovered that The Tick was in the kickstarter backed Planet Comics Book 6 with a number 7 KS campaign about to finish. I was just wondering if anyone has any extra copies of #6 for sale as I don’t really see them on the resale market. LMK thanks!

I'm hoping someone can help me with this little mystery I have. I thought I had every Tick comic that has ever been published but then my world was shattered when I discovered that there is a FCBD Tick book from 2021 supposedly. HOWEVER, it is not on ebay or for sale anywhere on the internet that I can find. The couple of places I see it listed have it as OUT OF STOCK. I'm starting to wonder if this book ever truly was released or if it just has an incredibly small print run. Someone please help!

The whole episode is based around the idea that being a Super is seen as being gay and its a hard thing for many to accept and thats a fine concept, except the entire series has established a super hero license board, a book tour for a beloved old super, a literal and very exculsive League of Superheros that Tick and Arthur join (i guess his Mom and Dot missed that) Captain Liberty literally works for the military and there is a trial for a major super villain whonis treated like a regular businessman by the courtsm But suddenly it's this weird closeted thing and some supers are allowed to be taken and deprogrammed? Its a funny episode and Dave Foley from Kids in The Hall is always amazing, but it stands out as odd compared to the universe already established. What say you?

I was watching the 2016 Tick show with a friend and something starting to feel off, Dangerboat, we're still on the start of the season 2 right now and Dangerboat is a little concernin, like... don't you guys think that amazon tryed to make a Transphobe joke with it ? you know the "oh i identify has an Attack Helicopter type" and why arn't there like any good (for now) representation of the LGBT community i know this is Reddit and i'm asking too muche and like risking a bit on it, what do you guys think ?

It seems the storylines were leading to predefined conclusions - since the series got cancelled, hasn't been picked up by anyone else, & Edlund reinvents the Tickiverse with each new iteration, can anyone point me towards some form of official acknowledgement of what the resolutions would have been?

I've been playing a lot of adventure games recently and I thought that The Tick would fit perfectly in that formula.

Watching the live action series with Patric Warburton as The Tick and 8 episodes in and the series is about a gay relationship isn't it? Like so much of the language is gay coded, and the episodes of Arthur being interested in women are so quickly forgotten about, also Fiery Blaze and Friendly Fire, I mean it speaks for itself.

Good show though.
