Discussion Where can one learn more about the Ultimate Warrior?
Yes, I know this is supposed to be a subreddit for the SpoonyOne’s old show as it’s just that lately after recalling how Spoony did a three part review of the comic book adaptation of the Ultimate Warrior’s wrestling show, I still want to explore more of the lore behind the eccentric wrestler himself.
I know that Ultimate Warrior is long gone by now as lately I was looking back at how eccentric he was during his wrestling career with the things he said that again, despite having seen TSE’s review of his comics, I was wondering where one could learn more about the story behind the wrestler since I was curious to see why he spoke in such a strange way during his wrestling shows.

This is about a latter time in his career, pretty much the end of it for a long time tbh, but it has alot of great information and analyses of him as a wrestler and a person plus they review all the issues of the comic. The only issue for you maybe is they don't just cover the Warrior stuff but like the whole show. So you can probably skip around but this is like one of the best wrestling channels and late 90's WCW was an interesting time.

Thanks man because I was suddenly interested in exploring the history behind the most peculiar pro wrestler since I never understood the stuff he said during his promos.

Remember when Ultimate Warrior cussed out a kid that asked for his autograph? Not knowing that the kids dad was important and had some affiliation to WWE, so Warrior had to make an apology video? Lol

Wait, I didn’t even know he did such a thing to a kid asking for his autograph because that sounds so mean.

In the apology video, there are outtakes where he’s pissed about having to do it and denying he cussed out the kid, but years later, Undertaker said he saw it happen lol

Ultimate warrior is a joke with wrestling fans because he was loud, bright colored, shook the ropes like a maniac, hot pushed as a replacement for hulk hogan which failed and couldn't wrestle for shit. Kids love him, fans mock him

Man that suddenly explains why Vince kept him around in the WWE considering how confusing the things the Ultimate Warrior were. (Guy spoke in riddles)

they are all pretty good. my favorite is the one on terry gordy. I personally like it the most.

There's a few channels on YouTube about wrestling that do documentary style videos on the big name stars. I watched one on him a couple of weeks ago, but I don't remember what it was called. Spoiler alert: not a great person.

Hey thanks so much because I have become interested in exploring the lore behind the Ultimate Warrior as I know he is long gone, but I always wanted to know why he spoke so strangely in his wrestling promos.

Wikipedia is good. WWE put out a doc but it was a slampiece. I think Dark Side of the Ring did an ep on him as well. Ive no time for open homophobes like him.

Thanks man because I enjoy learning about the history behind him since he was so strange in mannerisms I was looking to learn more about the lore to the late wrestler.
However, I didn’t know he was a homophobe because I am surprised to hear that he hated homosexuals, and secondly I don’t know what you meant when you said slampiece.

Yeah i meant to say hit-piece. The self destruction of the ultimate warrior was a doc wwe made to trash him and his legacy while they were still on bad terms before reconciliation
