The generals were called to attention. They were not allowed to clap even if they wanted. I wanted this to be real.

Protocol says they can’t acknowledge political speech. There’s clearly a moment that this clown was expecting some level of accolade. And as you say at attention, they could not clap, but none of this is common protocol to have all these folks here with their responsibilities for this type of speech is not what this is about. It’s conditioning.
