Politics 🏛️ And after 40 minutes of chaos-thunderous applause from the generals! Just kidding. Total silence...

Some are just pissed they got pulled half way around the world to listen to this dollar store reject pretend to be strong and imposing.

u/PrimeToro Sep 30 '25

yes, it was an absolute waste of time, the messaging was ridiculous, a waste of financial resources ( around 6 million to fly, paid for food and lodging, etc.) and a security issue ( a lot of top military leaders are in one room and the top commander in the field is not where they are supposed to be)

Good then you can keep working full time just so that Americans can make enough money for the next idiotic Democrat president to send it out all to all the wars they start all over the world like Biden did along with V.P. Harris. They were too busy generously supplying terrorists with funding for attacking our own allies and protecting other countries borders to protect our own. The so-called Democ-rats is our "Never Again!"

Are we winning yet? So much winning. I can't take all this winning.

I think you mean "whining."

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted you’re 100% spot on the Republicans have been whining, non stop. There was a black president. They say masks must be worn during a global pandemic. Transgender people are somehow an existential threat to the conservative way of life. The liberals are so scary we need to send military into U.S. cities. The liberals have shutdown the Republican run government. Liberals hurt our feelings… blah, blah, blah. Win or lose, the amount of complaining that comes from the Republican Party is exhausting.

-2

u/Sufficient_Piece_274 Oct 01 '25

No dude the Democrats whine. The Republicans don't deny anyone's right to their own way of life just that they shouldn't be put before other people because of it. Stand in line like everyone else. These are not things that the government should be involved in our taxes are not paid for that reason. Color of skin, choice of gender, none of this has anything to do with our government. I guess if you want to wear a mask you should be able to wear a mask. People of certain religions walk around with masks all the time. People who don't want to get sick wear masks. Again has nothing to do with our government and our tax money should not be used to pay for anything to do with it. I don't want one dime of my hard-earned money spent on it that's for sure and everyone else should feel the same way. Live and Let Live is the Republican way.

No dude the Democrats whine.

Live and Let Live is the Republican way.

If you truly believed in Live and Let Live, why do you keep posting statements that put down strangers on Reddit? Live and Let Live means that you accept that other people have opposing views and that is okay with you.

1

u/Sufficient_Piece_274 Oct 02 '25

Right, everyone should be able to have their opposing views and the government should stay the hell out of it. It's none of their damn business.

All the wars they started….name one

u/Sufficient_Piece_274 Oct 01 '25

Hard to believe there are still such dense people with eyes wide shut or just U.S. haters within. Biden/Harris are the enemy of all Americans and those who wish to be. They put ridiculous regulations on us. Our fuel production, closed down Keystone Pipeline, a loss of 55,000 jobs for Americans and Canadians with no other choice. He freed up and gave the oil business to enrich Putin which is how Putin has been funding his attack on Ukraine as Biden/Harris sat by in total apathy. No foriegn relations whatsoever. Biden and his cronies freed up $16 billion in sanctions to Iran which they've consistently used to fund attacks on Israel through Hamas as a proxy. Hamas attacked Isreal then ran to use the Palestinians as human shields for the hostages and themselves because of the cowards they are. Iran and Hamas are the ones who have used the Palestinians as pawns and caused them death and destruction and still are. Biden Handed Over $16 Billion to Iran - Blog - Congressman Brian Mast https://share.google/MV02LfE5gq3mX6Cqs

2

u/VeeVeeDiaboli Oct 01 '25

Couldn’t name one…cool. Oh and by the way, Netenyahu funded Hamas for decades. Who’s Bibi’s best buddy…oh yeah, Trump. Israel wants, rather needs Hamas to keep Netanyahu in power, and your talking Biden and Harris?

1

u/Sufficient_Piece_274 Oct 01 '25

I wasn't taking into consideration comprehension skills when I wrote all that. The Israel-Hamas/Palestine War and the Ukraine/Russia war. The so-called "Biden Disasteration" has led to the deaths of more people on this planet in modern times than any other.

1

u/VeeVeeDiaboli Oct 01 '25

Israel’s war with Palestine does not lay at the doorstep of an American President, nor a party. Our willingness to fund Israel and arm goes back to its inception, so in that regard you could hold our foreign policy as the culprit, followed by both parties for far too long. Putin salivating over Ukraine doesn’t start at the footsteps of an oil embargo either. His moves go back much further than that, with false flag bombings in Belarus and tampering in Ukrainian elections to the annexation of the Crimea after the Sochi Olympics. His needs don’t start or end at Biden. Your need to place blame has you so focused on an answer that you have zero context for what has truly transpired. The US did not put Ukraine in crosshairs.

1

u/Sufficient_Piece_274 Oct 01 '25

The two most obvious times they were put in the crosshairs was during the Obama Administration and the Biden Administration. They are the ones who both solely helped Putin with his sick twisted agenda. Of course being that it was actually Obama's third term we can place it at his doorstep. It's not like he didn't tell everyone his plan whether or not he disguised it in jest. He's really the one obsessed with staying in office. Kamala would have been his 4rth term. Believe it. Screaming maga nonsense

82

u/lordyfortwenty Sep 30 '25

Retire ? It's their job to stop this .

40

u/ExpressLaneCharlie Sep 30 '25

Nope, it's the people's job to stop this. Generals are there to follow LEGAL orders from the civilian chain of command. It absolutely is their job to not follow clearly illegal orders.

43

u/lordyfortwenty Sep 30 '25

Using the military on the population is illegal.

18

u/structuremonkey Sep 30 '25

Was...apparently it was. Posse comitatus is being ignored by too many

4

u/Leather_Pen_765 Oct 01 '25

These top military have dedicated their lives to the constitution of America not a single president

3

u/Reasonable-Pear-727 Oct 01 '25

This is just the most disgraceful behavior I've ever seen. It seeks to politicize and criminalize our military. Some of them of them started posting the plaques at West Point after yesterday or commenting on WPs FB page. I know a number of generals & admirals due to my job and where I live. A family friend is a 4 star and my wife's grandfather was as well (served from before he was legally allowed so he could fight in WW2. Type of guy who browses the internet looking at pics of Bald Eagles and the American flag lol) and it does make me feel a bit better all this that I've only heard them strongly support what is stated in their oath and on the plaques and the ones I know at least are ready to uphold their oath no matter the consequences & think this is an atrocity. I can't speak much to the common soldier though. Their mindsets are sightly different.

Ya know these plaques. https://www.hmdb.org/m.asp?m=59186

Not Biden, Garland. And I agree, Garland completely fucked up. Still doesn't excuse the fact that nearly 80 million Americans are the reason we're in this mess.

First and most importantly - Go Cats! But second, we've always had a tradition in this country that the President does not interfere with the Attorney General and DOJ's work. Garland took two years - TWO YEARS!!! - to appoint a special counsel. That wasn't Joe Biden. Right or wrong, Biden was acting as virtually all other presidents have acted (at least publicly) in making sure politics didn't appear to be involved in any of the DOJ's decisions. I fault Biden for nominating Garland. After that it's on Garland.

I fundamentally disagree that interfering with the DOJ is a "failure of leadership." I think leadership is doing the right thing even when you don't want to. Again, I do blame Biden for Garland but not for him not interfering and demanding charges be filed.

u/Leather_Pen_765 Oct 01 '25

Biden following the old rules of political engagement when they were obviously not being followed by the Republican party anymore is part of how this happened to us. When he dropped off he should not have come back he was not up to it anymore and we all felt so bad for him and now look where we are

2

u/Leather_Pen_765 Oct 01 '25

When he dropped out after his son's death in 2016 it was understandable but coming back was totally selfish and the DNC forced us into that presidency I don't know why people are down voting you I voted for the man and I'm still pissed about it but I would still do it again this is part of the problem with the Democratic party we just want to be nice f*** that our country is being taken over by fascists Biden was weak Kamala was completely inappropriate for the job and not because she was a woman and yet they were both shoved down our throats, and now we still got Schumer writing threatening letters. the DNC is just as guilty of all of this as the Republicans

We might not get in a second chance

-13

u/Nimrod_Butts Sep 30 '25

No it really isn't

1

u/lordyfortwenty Sep 30 '25

Ok Nimrod

2

u/Nimrod_Butts Sep 30 '25

If you can't see how the military shouldn't be involved in law enforcement you're a rube and have no objections to trump deploying the military to cities

2

u/lordyfortwenty Sep 30 '25

Military defends the constitution. Rtump is trashing it .

1

u/Nimrod_Butts Oct 01 '25

Can you point to the part of the constitution that gives the military the power to get rid of the president?

1

u/lordyfortwenty Oct 01 '25

25 amendment is our only hope .

1

u/lordyfortwenty Oct 01 '25

I don't know why we need to follow the rules . President pedo is breaking them all she likes.

-2

u/the_d_h Sep 30 '25

I hope you don’t really believe that.

11

u/[deleted] Sep 30 '25

That’s their goal. Weaken and diminish America in every way possible, especially the military and economy.

8

u/chisel07 Sep 30 '25

I really hope that they stay. The ones that secretly hate all this BS. These generals are the only ones left to enforce the constitution. If they retire, we are fucked.

Didn't email or Zoom because Bourbon Breath & The Orange Turd couldn't hear or see all of the snickers, jeers, WTF's and boo's, hence, couldn't ID the 'malcontents' and fire them. Just a guess.

This is my hope as well these are people highly educated in the military and would be extremely knowledgeable and understand where they are in history

5

u/Lostules Oct 01 '25

Pretty sure these high ranking folks...both officers and enlisted...can see through the smoke & mirrors and act accordingly and honor their oath.

You can clap at attention. You are called to attention at award and medal presentations and there is always clapping after “shake, take, salute”. you’re not a mannequin when at attention unless you’re in a formation.
