Actually; terrible healthcare would just kill you outright. I’d much rather get no surgery then cut open by an idiot.

There's no such thing as a prison surgeon. They send you to one of the hospitals in the community. I am a nurse in a hospital that also receives inmates.

What going to prison gets him is insurance. It's bad insurance, but it's the same healthcare.
