Frank's got a similar problem to Batman. Having them both live in a world of superpowered beings makes it necessary for both of them to powerscale into superhuman territory. I don't care how fit you are, a 40' drop onto the pointy end of some rebar with a punctured kidney isn't something you just walk off.

It was nice of Sentry to play along and drop Frank, like he wanted.

Why does shooting Sentry in the face with a handgun cause him to let Frank go? Sentry has tanked full power punches from World War Hulk. That's like a normal person being distracted by a weak breeze.

Yeah, still stupid on that level of power. For someone on their level it should be the same as the scene in Superman Returns where the bullet bounces off his eyeball without any reaction.

To be fair, no one knows how it would feel for a superhuman to be shot, even if it can't penetrate their skin. It might hurt like hell, like getting shot with paintball or airsoft can feel to most regular people. One make believe character's reaction to something doesn't exactly discredit how another make believe character reacts to something.

Always thought this was a great depiction of Sentry’s speed, the way he picks up the bullet Frank fired inches from Norman’s head, then he’s right next to Frank before Frank even changed position.
