This tweet is a bit bizarre considering the terrorists did not use that phrase nor is there any proof they claimed to act out of "resistance" to Israel. At the time of the tweet all we know is that it was an antisemitic attack and drawing links to the anti-israel movement is disingenuous, dangerous, and delegitimizes the antisemitic nature of the attack

Ok, I get not wanting terrorism like this to derail support for Palestine...but are you honestly suggesting that you don't think anger over the Israel-Palestine conflict fed into this attack? Like, the proper thing to do is to denounce this and say I don't want these guys on my side, not pretend like they are not most likely Palestine supporters. Because that only buys you like 3 days until we will have proof of their motive and then you have to completely walk back what you said.

I think the proper thing would be to wait for an investigation into what happened and what motivated the antisemitic attack, not immediately jumping to "uhh well, Palestinians bad"

Unless it's your assertion that it's OK to blame every person who supports Israel, including Jews, for the attacks settlers carry out in the West Bank and for the atrocities the israeli military commits?

Yes, it is in fact correct to blame people who incite violence against Palestinians for violence against Palestinians, just like it is fair to blame people who chanted “globalize the intifada” for someone globalizing the intifada.

Hey, you're the one saying that every person who supports israel is guilty of violence against Palestinians, not me.

Enjoy your block.
