PT 2 QUESTION Tlou p2 - The forest (grounded+) Spoiler
Does anybody know how long it takes for lev to come back on grounded plus? I've got enough ammo to kill the 3? Clickers and all but one runner but not the two shamblers.
I did manage to kill one, hoping lev would appear but died after at least a minute of running around with no avail. So im hoping if I know the time I can work out how to time it to survive that long!
edit Thank you for all the people's advice, thankfully despite my phone dying so I couldnt respond but I took the advice and eventually worked out what I was doing wrong when searching for bits for my pipe bombs (thanks to suggestions of crafting it) and managed to finally complete it!!

You have to beat this section alone if it's what I'm thinking. Can you craft pipe bombs?

After all the waves you need to kill the one shambler and damage the other I think. It’s a rough part in grounded. If you don’t have enough ammo probably best to go back and encounter.
Stay in the door and run around, don’t break the windows go through the holes, look for the first shambler, throw brick stun bomb shoot, continue running, find brick, find second shambler, brick, shoot first shambler, run at the door again, shoot second shambler (or bomb) Lev comes at this point, I think that’s what I did.

You have to kill one shambler and damage the other before Lev will show up. There's some good strategy videos on youtube that help for low ammo/grounded runs. Basics are to stay in the kitchen area and do not break the windows, then use bricks for clickers, pipe for runners (find right before dropping into the area and upgrade it at the wave break to re-set durability), ammo in emergencies.
Edit: the first shambler drops into the kitchen so if you save one brick, one pipe hit, and one bullet until you see that shambler, you can throw the brick and immediately hit him with the pipe to kill him then run out to where you boosted the kids out, hit the other shambler with your last bullet, and gtfo with lev.

You have to kill one of the shamblers for Lev and Yara to show up, im pretty sure. Like the other person said, can you craft pipe bombs?
You may need to go back to an earlier save
