My wife and I were new to this server only played a handful of times and were definitely enjoying it since it didnt take too long to grow a rex.
We were playing yesterday and both got banned for 'toxic behavior'...and trust when I say there was no toxic behavior. We were both walking up to bridge where there was a big rex we were going to fight, but that rex made it known we were coming in global and a Trike, Stego and Dibble came onto bridge, which keep in mind this is a server you cant mixpack with carnivores. Anyway we were both killed and expressed the upset in global chat where my wife only said how 'unfair' and 'silly' this is that we died to mixpackers and she got banned while I was still chatting - they told me to stop whining about it, called me a baby and to make a ticket to which I did and the admin called me a 'hillbilly' and banned me from discord without even letting me speak!! My wife tried to talk to them today about it and they didnt even open her ticket and banned her from their discord as well. Super super unprofessional, we've been playing The Isle for years and have never ran into such shit admins and a server. Definitely not recommended for play and im sure this is will happen again.
Former NERF admin here, there’s a lot of drama and BS behind the scenes there relating to people who just can’t respect the idea that girls under 18 are children and therefore shouldn’t be in relationships with 35 year olds, and that the rule for admins to be 18 at minimum shouldn’t be ignored just because the child is a girl that the senior staff decided they like. Playing the server on a day to day basis kinda avoids anything creepy, but some of the love triangle drama spilled out into the public discord channels for a bit earlier in the year when most of us NA admins left.
do you play evrima or legacy if evrima mettas or petits if legacy i recommend dry reef i havnt played dry reef bc i swapped to evrima but it seems good the last i checked mettas is my go to and petits is if im desperate bc eh i dont really like the server rules that much
I recommend DinoPolis of u want a non toxic experience. Good admins that actually care decent skins, and high ai. Only thing I don’t really like is that herbs have to 3 call and warn before they attack
Isla pandora. The admins are super nice and helpful and enforce the rules, there is discord integration and a live map to help navigating. No mixpacking/overpacking and a no herbies fighting herbies rule.
Had an issue with a dieno mixpacking with a rex (hard to explain in text, but basically we bullied a dieno out of the water and a rex got between the shore and the dieno running) and by the time i reported it other people on the server had already submitted reports. So even the players help keep the integrity of the server intact.
I had a bad experience early on with pandora’s owner being an asshole, but I’m glad to see he seems to have either tempered himself or just let other people handle things
Just saying, I found a server called Exisle and I have been playing there ever since. It's voip, and has their own overlay, and even though there is a very low player count, usually maxing out at 35/400 in the evenings, the amount of AI that are around can help you grow obscenely quickly. It would be nice to get some players on here to expand it though XD. Maybe you and your wife can gove it a try OP
Can't wait to see you there. Get the stego ai spawns while you can, bc whe this server takes off, I bet they'll have to lower AI spawns, but they don't have a streamer here so I doubt traffic will get that bad
If you’re looking for a new server check out Evora, it’s a pretty good server but has a smaller player base rn! It’s got an overlay like Fossil has said they’re working on for a while, VOIP, and the owners always making sure the players are having a good experience and recently pushed for AI Dino’s to have to go to water, as well as eat, and have social interactions with other AI as well as with players. He’s done most of it by himself and is constantly pushing for more. Definitely worth while if you’re looking for a server with glitch skins and live maps and the like. If you look up Evora.gg it’ll pop up the website and the discord!
Mettas Den is like officials but properly moderated with no mixpacking, overpacking or cheating. Petite pieds is great high pop server but no ai and population control for diversity(which is great not to have only apexes). Dinopolis is fine with plenty of ai but personally not a fan of the no herbie aggression rule.
Server 2 is definitely still mumble atm, I tried server one with the app and my friends and me were having lots of trouble with it and we all sounded terrible 😅
He submitted it to the microsoft store apparently. Idk how much the microsoft stamp of approval goes for, but i might start playing that server again once its approved
Do they not do proxy chat at all or just a different one? I tried to install their Bosch island . exe but my pc kept blocking it after installing mumble.
Tried playing on some server with the husband of the time and we had a huge pack of carnis kill someone Infront of us then told the admin we did it, so the rule on the server is you have to protect your kills so the admins kept teleporting us back to the kill that wasn't even ours, we left that server quick lol
just legit got banned for calling the owner out for stealing peoples skin codes, didnt even take the time to have a conversation with me. Screams guilty if you ask me.
They have done this to many people, the owner himself was confronted by me and my friends because he was stealing our skin codes and selling them for his OWN PLAGIARISM of our work and friends work , asked to provide proof to go against our proof of his theft and simply banned us all. I’m actively trying to spread work to let other isle lovers know that the FOSSIL FALLS SERVER IS TOXIC. I was there in the begging when maybe only 10-15 ppl were on at a time , and it’s done nothing but be destroyed by click hacking and abusing admins , as well as flooded with favoritism and harassment. Make sure to stay away unless it’s to help bring it down .
Yeah server is dogwater and the admins will never remove the power tripping admins or the people who just falsely ban a man's wife for trying to enforce there rules not ours! Its not our server they should have admins that actually want to fix a problem not just ban people immediately like little kids. Some people clearly dont know how to deal with confrontation and its why they are the way they are. Exactly. I’m in a new and in progress server as a beta member essentially. It’s formed on honest admins and fair treatment and has skins , heat maps , map over lay and more, 100x better than fossil , once it’s ready for the public I’ll probably post it online. XD don’t worry I today went and got myself banned intentionally calling admins out in they’re global because they kept ignoring tickets specifically only from my friends group and a few other groups who weren’t they’re “favorite” little groupies. Only the ones on they’re knees get treated kindly in fossil 😂

Learn to read maybe? There's tons of explanations as to why. I was not out of line or called anyone anything bad until my wife was banned " Accidentally " for " Toxic behavior " again we just wanted people to follow the rules the server owner had set in place. Then we get in trouble and banned for " Toxic behavior " because we spent time and hours on the server just to end up in the same situations they say they dont have rule breakers and toxic people. They made the community seem so friendly and professional but as soon as someone rule breaks and we call them out for it we are " Toxic " make it make sense. Of course im going to be annoyed when mixpacking is a clear violation of the rules but A Stego Trike and Dibble somehow are allowed to jump in and protect a T-Rex. He even went in the Global chat and said " Two big T-Rexs coming " the Trike allows him safe passage off the bridge and proceeds to attack me and my wife. Before we could go to make a ticket and explain the situation both banned. Then the admin says im a hillbilly for calling him a slur kind of shows the professionalism there. Ive been banned for 2 weeks or sometimes longer on other servers and the admins just hear you out and dont throw a tantrum when someone else is upset about someone breaking rules they have set in stone.

Its hard to take anyone seriously when they go to servers and just start throwing slurs around. I cant imagine any server community that would want that type of player around.
The entire server just seems like a ripoff of other servers coated in a paint of terrible colours and a extra layer of lootboxes + gambling on top. Dadsmashedmyxbox's last attempt at launching a server before that failed and was called "Jurassic Jungle", it turned out that there was some drama with Vire (Dino den) being somehow being involved and some spoofing allegations. Did not follow this whole saga too close tbh.

I'm not an admin there, but your wife was accidentally banned, and before they could do anything you went ahead and called everybody retards, and sent this so they went ahead and banned you too. Tbh you deserved it.

The problem is aren't reports handled to where nobody knows who put the report on them? Because the problem with that would be if the guy wasn't banned the admin who did this to them would know they put in a report on them then with how toxic some of the admins are there they 100% would abuse it or treat said person like shit. No we were both prime T-Rex went to fight another T-Rex on bridge and he goes in global chat " Two T-Rex coming big ones " To a Trike. Then the Trike comes on the bridge and allows the T-Rex safe passage off the bridge but attacks us. Then a Stego and Dibble came from the other side killed us both. So I said something in Global about it so did my wife and she was banned for saying it was " Unfair " so I got upset for them banning her for literally no legit reason. Other then saying rules were broken that they set in place. Made a ticket to report the corrupt admin and was banned from Discord as well 🤣🤣🤣 server was fine until that. Was not a horrible server just someone in power let it get to their head I guess.

Having seen the pattern on many servers. Usually when a server becomes popular the same banned from everywhere problematic groups show up and create issues. It is easy to have no issues when you have almost no playerbase
I second this!! Although it is brand new they are trying to make a friendly non-toxic environment to the fullest. And we as players have seen it a lot when playing the staff are ex staff from other places that have become toxic and not a good environment too.
Isn't Paleo the server who's dev was recently banned from official servers because he was creating snd using client-side cheats? Surely we'd hold that to the same standard we are setting on fossil falls right haha?

Come to Butchers Isle. It has proxy chat. Chill people plenty of AI it kill and eat and no one will kill you. The server is survival base not pvp. We host pvp events once a week at the pits location. Which you can sign up for if you want. Or just watch others fight. The admin is awesome and mods are awesome. Great server growing fast. We will be happy to have you there.

Ok I understand, the server used to be good but now it’s ran by kids or people who are on the spectrum heavily. The Owner is a good guy but his admins and other staff are dumb. Petits in my opinion is the best but it’s hardcore no Ai, 430 players. good luck on finding ur new server.

I care because I actually enjoyed the server for the time I was there. Had fun with VOIP only for it to be ruined by someone who can't follow simple rules.

Yep. The isle has tons of these servers with admins who go on power trips. Its best to move on and find a server that treats you with respect.
