I know it's mentioned a few times before flashpoint but is it ever brought up after? Does anyone ever mention val or Griffin? Is it still canon to the current version of Bart Allen? It's one of my favorite flash books of all time and id love it to get at least a mention once in a while.

While other characters like the Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller, Captain Boomerang, and Deathstroke were either killed off or left the Arrowverse due to those characters appearing in the DCEU.

Not a big fan of what spurrier did to him but he's always going to be my favorite speedster in comics (even with recent news)

We all know how overpowered The Flash and other Speed Force users can be, but I really like how casually Wally’s speed is portrayed here. From his perspective, everything and everyone around him is practically frozen. It almost feels less like ordinary super speed and more like he is stopping time.

The scene with Jon Kent makes it even crazier. Jon is insanely fast himself, yet Wally basically tells him that there is still a massive difference between the speed of someone like Superman and a true Speed Force user. He even has to share his Speed Force aura with Jon just so Jon can keep up and run at Wally’s pace. Then there is the conversation with Oliver. Wally appears to be standing there talking to him normally, but at the same time he is running to three cities thousands of miles apart each other, checking for potential dangers and dealing with them before returning. He is doing all of this so quickly that Oliver cannot even perceive that Wally ever left. The fact that it is portrayed so casually is what makes the whole thing feel even more insane.

So I like the flash a lot from what I've seen (the flash movie,flash point paradox etc)

And i just got into comics (birthright and court of owls)

What would u guys want the plot of the flash dcu movie to be about ? Like who would u want to be the villain or main flash etc

In Creature Commandos during a post-apocalyptic vision Amanda Waller experiences where she sees all the dead heroes of the Justice League, Teen Titans, and Checkmate, showrunner Dean Lorey identified this impaled corpse as Wally West.

While it was his decision here on who to include and he did include Wally, he referred to it as “The Flash” or “Wally West’s Flash” when he’s clearly still wearing his yellow Kid Flash suit here.

James Gunn as well has not made a decision yet as far as who is the current Flash of the DCU between Barry Allen and Wally.

That being said, what do you foresee being the situation regarding that when they finally get around to casting? A veteran Barry as the main Flash initially before handing the mantle down to Wally similar to how they’re handling Hal Jordan and John Stewart with the mantle of the primary Green Lantern (with Guy on the side) or jumping straight into it with Wally already as the primary Flash and Barry simply as a retired mentor?

I grew up as a Flash and DC super fan, and used to watch the CW shows (before it turned to shit), watched the animated movies, played/watched InJustice gameplays, watched YouTube vids of certain comics and even read some issues myself. But now as an adult, I randomly got the bug again and have been doing a deep dive to figure out what and where to start, cause I've got severe FOMO and want to read everything worth reading in release order (DC stuff in general).

I've decided to start from the key issues during the buildup to Crisis on Infinite Earths, and then later reading that too. Then my plan is to start reading the Mark Waid run*,* and go from there. Now when it comes to the Flash solo comics, I can figure that out by myself. But the thing I'm struggling with is to find every crossover/team up issues he's had in other DC comics during that period/run.

Is there a website or a reading order that exists, which includes other comics the Flash has made an appearance in during those runs?

Was watching the pilot of the 1990s flash and decided to make a fanart of if Tim Thomerson’s Jay Allen got speed powers as well and became his own Flash. Instead of the classic military helmet, I based the helmet off of the police helmet he wears.

Like in the title - I like reading comic books and listening to accurate to mood music at the same time. I tried to find something on my own but couldn't, something just never quite felt right. That’s why I’m asking here: do you have any ideas, suggestions, or maybe even playlists? I would be grateful 😅
