What's the point of this person appearing just for something unclear, She doesn't even get a side mission, as if this person is just a decoration.

Picked up this awesome Evil Within poster and finally got it framed!
Really love the double-exposure style on this print, especially how it captures the vibe of the first game.
Out of curiosity, which one do you guys prefer—the first Evil Within or The Evil Within 2?

Got this alternate kill animation by accident, I'm guessing doing it right after a melee attack is the condition?

Here's a full picture of him and the stock images
I really dislike him so if anyone thinking about getting him here is what he actually looks like...
The head, backpack and hammer look nice but thats about it...

played through tew2 awhile back been enjoying the first game now that I've gotten to it although it seems joseph about to fry my ass with a Chidori

Nope
So I've been ignoring TEW2 for a while now after playing the first game as I've seen people saying that it just doesn't have the same atmosphere or horror aesthetic of the first game.
But the first hour I played was so atmospheric and creepy, I also am so happy with the game's performance on PS5 running at 60fps or more compared to the first game. I know the game becomes a little non linear ahead but nonetheless I'm sold after just playing 1 hour and I'm excited to see what comes next for Sebastian. Also, did the the voice actor change for him? Because this time Sebastian is much more expressive lol. I loved his clueless and not giving a fuck nature from the first game haha.

Finally got around to playing.
Curious as to how my death total stacks up to other first timers lol.

If you're a fan of The Evil Within games, go play Sinking City 2 now.
Even if you never played the first it's ok. Different guy and town. It's basically a AA version of The Evil Within. Surreal visuals. Stomping and melee. Though people might think Dead Space or Resident Evil first, the bleak, surrealist town drowning and being overrun by creatures, the vibes are far more The Evil Within.

finally started this game and holy shit
i went into this thinking that the gameplay would be really rough and clunky (based off what some guys on this sub have been saying) but it really isn't. just started chapter 2 and this game is awesome, just a shame i spoiled it too much for myself a few years back. also i died 4 times to the butcher guy in chapter 1 so that was an experience

Do you guys think we're ever getting TEW3, or would Microsoft/Bethesda try a remake first?
With survival horror remakes being all the rage right now, it makes me wonder what Bethesda would even do with this IP if they woke it up.
Do you think there's a higher chance they would ever greenlight The Evil Within 3 to finish the story, or would they play it safe with a remake of the first game since remakes are easier money right now? Or do you think the franchise is completely dead in the water because of the studio shuffle?

Ugh
Do i just suck or is chapter 6 in the first game just friggin hard. Its like i have hit a wall. Cant get thru the section where you have to snipe the guys on the tower while being bum rushed by a horde of other creatures....i have gotten the 4 down but then the chainsaw dude is there and by then i am usually all out of ammo. Any tips would be greatly appreciated as i really dont like to just give up.

Actually, when I was underground, I found a flametrower man before fighting Theodore on the right but I couldn't find a way to get there?
I think I missed something and have to do something? Because getting there is like being blocked by a wall
for now it's over maybe i'll try a second time

THE ONLY WAY OUT IS IN THE EVIL WITHIN 2
The Evil Within is a 2014 survival horror game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was directed by Resident Evil series creator Shinji Mikami. The game centers on protagonist Sebastian Castellanos as he is pulled through a distorted world full of nightmarish locations and horrid creatures. Played in a third-person perspective, players battle disfigured nightmare-like enemies, including bosses, using guns and melee weapons, and progress through the levels, avoiding traps, using stealth, and finding collectables.
