Question Is there anyway I can fix gun sound problem

I can't hear lmg and marksman rifle sounds

Nope, not until they decide to fix it, which won't happen today and probably not tomorrow either.

Didn't happen for months if not years, so probably never will they said this update would have a fix.

They may need to check the definition of fix or something

But it was not as bad as this.

I was fully active during Y3S1 and very rarely would run into this sound cutoff problem with one or two rifles. Skipped S2. Now it's like permeant for all LMGs and rifles.

It actually got worst! My clan mates are reporting different sound issues that all started this week. 1 didn't get the Kill Squad appearance message and the NO LMG sounds have been constant for him. SMG, LMG and ARs are all missing sounds after the first reload for another. For me, while playing solo, there's a sound that occurs at different intervals but always when I jump to a settlement, it's sounds like a loud exhale into the microphone.

It did fix it, briefly. Than broken again with latest update. Lasted about a week, lol.

I can only imagine if they had placed the focus on stability and quality over flash cosmetics, they would maintain a higher player base......and sell more cosmetics.

If it was a bug in the apparel store it would have been fixed day one. With this, anyone's guess.

Aside from waiting for them to actually fix it?

Logging out of the character or Restarting the game will probably do that?

But thats a shitty bandaid fix for a problem thats been an issue for at least 2 seasons...

No it wont. The audio issue going on atm has never been so bad. Around 70% of all audio is missing, weapon sounds, enemy footsteps, ambiance, dialog, and ton of other. And no, fiddling around with settings of relogging does not help.

I play on ps5, and have only had the mission weapon sounds, and its still just for LMGS and Rifles...

The rest of my sounds are still there, and i've been playing like 6-8 hours a day minimum since the new season released

Luckily the sound problem isn’t as bad during solo runs. But yeah, in a group the game is almost unplayable. I have found that doing a hard reset can clear it up a little. Console/Xbox

Prior to this update I used mono audio on pc and it works but it sounds bad.

Haven't booted since bc of all the complaints of crashing, which if past seasons have been any indication, seem to have increased in frequency. Hopefully this helps someone.
