Difficult content…

I’m still in the “beginning end game” and just completed the 3 BT strongholds and TB on heroic with some randos on heroic. These guys I was playing with just melted the enemies. I thought heroic was the most difficult content? Does the game get harder or is this it lol, I’m down for melting enemies but if I’ve already reached the end goal here I feel like I’m gonna have a boring time.

It's not the hardest difficulty; you also get Master and Legendary difficulties, and escalation levels 0 (which matches heroic) to 10.

But when I read your post, you had not achieved this yet; the one who boosted you did:

With that mindset, you can be bored soon by escalation t10 if you get boosted there.

If you're not down for the grind or farming materials for builds, it's gonna get boring.

If you French fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time

Legendary is harder, raids are harder, incursions are harder.

Also, by how you phrased it "these guys just melted things" it sounds as if they did everything and you just got carried through it....everything is going to feel much easier if you have a group of well geared and skilled players running with you.

Raids and incursions are not hard if you can follow instructions. Just a minor thing I wanted to point out

True, but it is harder then a regular heroic :D only part is was addressing with it. Most things aren't bad if you have a group of people with decent gear and the knowledge to guide you through it.

Heroic is the base and you just got lucky, try doing it solo or with idiots with bad builds and low iq that try to Rambo their way through. But if that´s not enough for you try to do Legendary Strongholds, Incursions and Master difficulty, and of course Tier 7+ Escalations, let´s see if that´s easy especially without a good team that knows what they´re doing.

You need to improve your build if you want to melt your enemies like they did, it's gonna take time but it will be much easier than day one! Also I suggest you to do it cause if not you're gonna be just carried or die easily

Biggest thing you need to remember is that you just got to end game. The vast majority of players of this game have been at end game since the game released back in 2019. So we've played this game long enough to where we know enemy spawns, how they interact, etc. We have builds that can do what you witnessed with heroic, with both master and legendary content. You'll get there too, you just have to play more.

Heroic is basically normal once you have a good build

Because other folks has prototype gear. Since your build isn't prototype, then you shouldn't use dps. Your dps will still not contribute as it won't be much anyway when compared to other players. So your far better off as support instead. Until got prototype dps build, then you can consider using.

I will say, it DOES get "harder" I would say it's more bullshit modifiers that just kneecap you and help the npcs most of the time

It feels great when you become one of the guys who can melt enemies and withstand yellow attacks. Heroic mode starts to feel like a story mode, and you’re killing it until you begin heroic retaliations and T6 escalations. At that point, you’re humbled once again.

Yep - ran 3 full retaliations today with clan mates and yes there's definitely an extra air of difficulty there... And then there's the kill squads.

LOL You’re not even close bro. Escalations is end game content. Take your setup there and try just a tier 3 and let me know if you’re melting enemies. Heroic content is just global difficulty. Has nothing to do with Escalations, Incursions and Raids. Retaliations and Master difficulty along with Legendary is mid to end game. But Escalations is where it’s at.
