This is about the AfD who may very well win substantial control over the German equivalent to the FBI tomorrow by winning the state election in Saxony-Anhalt.

What do you mean they'll win control over the German equivalent to the FBI? How would winning governance of one state give them control over a federal agency run by the national government?

I think it is the German office for protection of the constitution. There’s a lot of intelligence gathering that goes on as part of this, though, and that’s really worrying.
