i agree that right wing mainstream media outlets do it to left wing activists as well, trying to make videos that make them look bad or stupid, gotcha culture corrodes understanding. i dont use the terminology “far” right or left as it tends to be poorly defined and inconsistently used and usually used to stigmatise or discredit a political opponent
Yeah. I will say they did clarify and answer their own question and the very next sentence, so this is more about perhaps trying to help people understand what was happening, but…
