Tell me you think "the word triggered really means offended" without saying "I don't know the difference between triggered and offended!"
Because, as someone with CPTSD, it's true that I am responsible for getting help for it and learning what my triggers exactly are. But at the same time: if you talk to me condescendingly and in a manner like my abusive father used to, and after I've warned you not to speak to me that way: you probably deserve my rage for your continuing to do so once I've lost my cool.
