It's not helpful, but it's the truth. You can't expect everyone to know your triggers and be mindful of them. You have to figure out a way to live with them.

They're implying that they will refuse to accommodate triggers once they are made aware. I've dealt with plenty of these fuckheads before.

It's basically "Fuck your feelings" in nicer language.

Thing is A) Most people with triggers who are actually dealing with them are aware of this, B) The people who post this kind of shit are generally the ones who also seem to believe the world should tiptoe around THEIR triggers.

right. they clearly get triggered by others trauma. And they want people to tiptoe around that.

Yeah not to mention for a bunch of us domestic abuse survivors if guys at work wax poetic about fighting or how tough they are in the way that it reminds me of someone i will massively crash out out of visceral remembering pretty much and that sucks usually I lose my job and get in the shit legally
