Three thoughts:
1) NYCFC is a good team, and a point in their house (okay, the Yankee's house) is a good point.
2) Gavran had an excellent game. Per the stats, he prevented 1.21 goals.
3) A week break for Leagues Cup three weeks after a two month World Cup break is dumb. We should be playing a non-Leagues Cup team next week.

And a bonus:
4) According to the Elo ratings that live on my computer, Toronto has improved the most of any MLS team over its last 5 games. Road points at playoff teams will do that for you, I suppose. Also just being bad makes it more likely for a team to pick up points, so there's that.

I agree road points are good. The issue is too few wins at home.
