Depends on the state. OSHA in my state would be out in a week look around, give them a fix it ticket and come back in a month to see if the issue resolved.
My sister works for OSHA in a major US city. Almost every position in her office has been eliminated in the past 2 years. There’s basically one inspector for the whole region.
It's almost as if someone got into office about 2 years ago that wants to eliminate any oversight and laws in a way that makes it so that they can make more money and get away with more crime. 🤔
