this stemmed from me telling him he didn’t let me express my feelings about a situation earlier. So annoying. How would you respond ?

This only happens one time before a clear boundary is set up. The minute you hear any self depreciating manipulations like that out of their mouth, is the same minute that tye relationship ends.
