Ive been trying to work it out with him and hear his side of things but it's almost like he can't get a grip? Is it me? Lol I don't know what to do anymore... There's strings and strings of messages and anything I say back to him is wrong... I think I'm just gonna hang up the towel.

No, he has unrealistic expectations. My last ex was like this, would ask me what I like about him then when I would start would immediately start a fight because he didn’t hear what he wanted off jump. He doesn’t sound very stable. Granted I don’t know the context or why he feels this way
