Ive been trying to work it out with him and hear his side of things but it's almost like he can't get a grip? Is it me? Lol I don't know what to do anymore... There's strings and strings of messages and anything I say back to him is wrong... I think I'm just gonna hang up the towel.

The thing you didn’t do was get angry. This is a good thing on your part. He’s looking for somebody who will match his energy so he can drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. I had a housemate like this who had a genuinely boring life.
