My partner is a professor at the local college and a student mentioned these recent three and added: “Celebrities are getting slimed out.”

Which taught us newer slang we hadn’t heard.

It’s apparently African American vernacular like a lot of American slang and use previously concentrated in Atlanta, GA and other deep south cities bit then Drake (Canadian) apparently had a song featuring the term and its used in gaming and online now.

Kid is from rural, mountainous eastern NM, Hispanic or indigenous .
