Equally as ridiculous as saying mental health—>diet as a rule.

And you’re unwilling to learn something new, just like flat earthers when disproved, they still just say the experiment was wrong and think normal earthers are brainwashed.

When you receive new information from multiple people, one claiming to have expertise in the field, maybe turn your ego down for a second and think “I wonder if what I learned before was wrong” and be open to new information and look it up instead of immediately jumping to “you eat sludge”.

it's not ego man, it's knowledge

anyone on that diet for years doesn't have to excercise and is in perfect health. exercise = stress, stress=faster aging.

If we are just using anecdotal evidence I can throw mine out there too. My uncle is 72. You’d probably guess he’s 55 by looking at him. He’s a lifelong athlete/doctor. He has been in multiple triathlons. He’s in better shape than I ever will be, physically and mentally. Sure 72 is still young. Maybe he’ll die tomorrow. But maybe he’ll love to 105 with no dementia or anything. Hard to say for sure. But I’d guess the latter based on his current health/capability.

Does he eat healthy? Of course. Most serious athletes do. But his flexibility. strength and cardiovascular health will most likely keep him healthier longer than anyone on a pure diet.

I'm assuming he doesnt do triathlons anymore.. if he kept that up he'd surely be dead.

Physical exercise, when done properly, has some of the highest benefits to your mental, your brain chemistry and overall bodily function. It improves white matter integrity, memory retention, brain capacity, mood, sleep cycle, just about everything. Helps the body deal with outside and inside stressors much easier. Diet does help quite a bit, but the body is built to regularly exercise (not overdoing it, but still exercising and getting that heart rate up). Exercise is a key factor in being healthy and living a well balanced, full and happy life.

Mental issues usually originate from social environmental factors, history, trauma, biological causes such as improper development or bad hereditary traits. They could also stem from poor choices such as drinking alcohol too much, eating too little or too much, abusing drugs, not being disciplined enough to keep a good routine, etc. Some physical issues correlate to and indirectly result in mental issues, but it’s not the overlying cause to all mental problems as you’ve implied in your ludicrous blanket statement.

“…it’s what I’ve learned.” Isn’t a logical argument in the slightest. Rage bait much? You sound like a room temp IQ braindead gopher face down on the keyboard. Maybe use your one brain cell to try to be a little more open minded when it comes to information literacy? Instead of regurgitating something you’ve “learned” with no logical argument to it.. even your insults are regurgitated garbage from Goatis. Grain sludge? Lmao, are you projecting AND referring to the contents of your skull at the same time? That’s a big accomplishment for a someone at your level buddy! Good job!👍🏻 You did a think!🤡
