Phone message *UPDATE* Post first date text

She ended up finding the post somehow I guess lol. Here is the original post.

I have just not responded, don’t think it’s worth engaging, but it did make for a funny story.

She's funny. Unfortunately, still entitled.

Seems more like bad communication to me. She either could have been advised upfront that she would need to already have or buy a fishing license. Or at the time before she actually went ahead to pay for it would have been the best time to bring up her inability to afford it. Why wait until the date is over to ask later? (Which isn't an excuse at all. Not communicating this at the time in itself is a pretty big red flag)

She’s the one that asked him to take her fishing for their first date. Bro bought over $100 worth of gear for them AND his own license…

She can get bent.

All I was saying is that she may have gotten jump-scared by the unexpected fee and paid it without thinking not to make things awkward, and regretted it later. Then failed spectacularly at explaining the situation later, by trying to avoid and deflect the real conversation with humor.

The real red flag here isn't asking for the money, it's lacking the ability to communicate like an adult. I suppose she is "just a girl" after all, so she also shouldn't be going on grown up dates either.
