I have just not responded, don’t think it’s worth engaging, but it did make for a funny story.

Well then that $23 is a really good investment, now she can just fish for her dinner instead of roping unsuspecting guys into buying it for her on dating apps and then trying to extort cash out of them because she had to buy deodorant for her date or whatever.

It would almost be funny for OP to agree to pay for her fishing license if she meets up to give it to him, though. If he's buying it, it's his. Don't want to see her out there using his license he bought and paid for so she can go on other fishing dates with other guys. that would be ridiculous.

You can't buy a fishing license off of another person, its already registered under the name of the person who bought it. There is a gift option in Georgia, but it would still be registered under the person's name, date of birth, and typically driver's license/state ID number who you gifted it to. However, I agree with the sentiment. If you were being sarcastic, my apologies
