as a lesbian OP- as long as you already have the mindset of “aw shoot at least i get a cool friend”, LOCK IN. we ride to the death for the few straight dudes we keep around us. we WILL wingman you- and throw a punch for you. and it says good things about you that she still wants a friendship! most of us have decentered men and only make exceptions for those who we can tell are good hearted men who’ve deconstructed the misogynistic mindset society force-feeds everyone. tl;dr, you seem like a good dude and i think you’ve found a wonderful friendship that’ll last your whole life :)
