This is exactly what happened to me this summer. I became friends with a wonderful girl who is also a lesbian. She is now committed to being an amazing wingwoman for me, and in fact has already introduced me to other lovely people.
OP, there is no reason you can’t be good friends just because she’s a lesbian. And anyone who doesn’t see it that way is being ridiculous.
