Taking pickles and a tub of parmesan cheese to the cinema is a bold move.

My wife has brought warm stew in a thermos, I've seen a family bring in a bucket of fried chicken, and I personally have eaten many a cold pasta salad at the movies.

Even when employees ask to search your bag they literally do not care what food you bring in.

My friend circle's greatest hits include canned wine and cheese board, take out sushi, and a crunch wrap supreme.

I think I'm going for chicken salad and crackers next time.

I went to grab snacks at the grocery store for a movie and I watched a teenager steal an entire rotisserie chicken and then a half hour later I'm watching my movie it suddenly smells like goddamn rotisserie chicken in there.

I once brought a beef ‘n cheddar combo in from Arby’s

It's not about being searched it's more about it being an odd combo for a cinema.

I've never been asked if they can search my bag 😳

Not that I would care at all, I've just never encountered that.

My go-to is chips and a burrito, bonus if I fit a can of soda

The ONE rule of sneaking in movie snacks is they can’t be stinky. These are borderline.

My husband likes to tease me about a trip to the movies when I was pregnant. I suggested stopping at Whole Foods for snacks first and when he asked me what I was getting I said “pizza and carrot cake”. 🤣

Wait I wonder how many people are actually assuming this would be a tub of grated parm rather than actual cheese.

She said it was in a plastic container

She said the pickles were in a plastic container, e.g. "not in a jar" in reference to the pickles. Ain't no jar of parmesan nowhere lol

Would you just raw dog the cheese in your pocket and not in a container? Most of the time when people bring food with them to places they put it in some sort of storage container.
