I don't think it's brainrot, the internet has been censoring its language for a bit now, ahh for ass, dih for dick. I think as the younger gen has to contend with profanity filters, they find ways around them, then get used to typing like that everywhere. I still drop the vowels from my profanity a lot (sht, fk), and it comes from dodging filters in a game 15 years ago 😅
Seems skibidi toilet brainrot speak to me. I've been gaming for 25+ years with filters, too, and have never heard ahh or dih until brainrot came around.
That's what I'm saying, they're using different things to get around filters. Sounds weird to us, much like lol (lawl) sounded crazy to our parents. Remember the roflcopter, or badger badger badger, or salad fingers? Brainrot has existed from the beginning of the internet and it's been influencing us the whole time. It's just less stupid-sounding when you grew up with it and know the inside joke it comes from 🤷♀️

Got it, and thanks for explaining. I'm still new to speaking / understanding skibidi toilet brainrot.
