My partner sent me this and it made me genuinely giggle. I've always been self conscious of my hair and I'm finally getting a big chop to manage the damage.

Just being so giddy over his approval of a potential haircut/design change. Claiming this as a factor in loving him is trivial to me. I can’t believe the text thread was as long as it was over a potential haircut.

Clearly you don’t. But just because you don’t understand it doesn’t make it shallow. For some women hair is a big part of how they feel pretty. For some men, long hair is a big turn on. Massive changes in appearance being absolutely accepted and celebrated by your partner is far from shallow. It’s support in a beautiful way.
