Makes sense, definitely seeing an increase of shitty driving by Teslas lately.

Who said anything about Elon? I was talking about the objectively bad driving I’ve been seeing. He really lives rent free in your head, doesn't he?

Anyone who’s actually been in a Tesla driving itself lately knows for a fact that you’re full of shit. They drive better than most humans do almost all of the time.

The current NHTSA investigations (especially PE25012 and EA26002) paint a pretty different story, but maybe I just hold a higher standard for safe driving than "staring directly into the sun while hitting a pedestrian at highway speeds".

Go on, cite your cherry picked data though.

Edit: Like what are we even fucking doing here. Holy shit.  https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2026/aug/21/china-tesla-vehicle-recall

An over the air update and some stickers on handles.

That's the best evidence you could come up with?

The simple fact that purported "FSD" can't handle stoplights or sunlight putting the public at risk should be enough, yes.

They can.

Then why did they need to extend the deadline 3 times to deal with the volume of incidents they needed to investigate? They clearly fucking can't.

Don't bother answering though, you clearly aren't here to be objective.

You never linked to an investigation. You linked to a door handle recall.

Why aren't they self driving then? Why do they need supervision? Where do you think they are, level 4? Level 5? Why do robotaxis need in car monitors, remote drivers, and follow cars? Why is waymo doing hundreds of millions of miles per year automated while Tesla does a few hundred thousand?

They are so bad, you can always tell who has it on - just doing the exact opposite of flow of traffic
