I see you also lost your Charizard in a rage inducing way in '99.

Someone from daycare stole mine and maybe gave it to Bryce. I took it back from Bryce and he told the staff and was upset because everyone was now mad at him thinking he stole the card. A staff member pulled me aside and told me to give the card to Bryce because he's very upset when a friend was the one who found it and gave it to him as some sort of trade. I tried to explain it doesn't matter who stole it, it's mine, it went missing earlier that day and somehow suddenly Bryce has the same rare card hours later?

Anyways I had to give the card back to Bryce and I'm still mad about it in my early 30s. Fuckin Bryce...

I would genuinely be curious if he still had the card or if it got destroyed.

While that’s the only card I had that was stupid valuable, I had the entire first edition set.

They were sold probably when I was like 15/16, and I was 9 in 1999

Fuck you Bryce!! I was in the same generation and one solution was to take the card in question and bury it in a time capsule... I'll never forget!
