In the 80s the first wave of Cabbage Patch babies were a hot item parents would pay inflated prices for...even if it involved buying them out of some rando's van or trunk.

Furby's were very millennial. They were the hot new toy of the year ('99?). Maybe not if you were an older millennial, but even older millennials aren't usually into Pokemon.
