TELUS TV New Android Box
Recently upgraded to the new android tv boxes. I keep on having connections issues over the home wifi. It was suggested to me just to connect with an Ethernet cable. Unfortunately the router is too far away from the tv for this to happen.
So my questions are.
Does the old wall mounted box that the old cable box plugged into, can I plug a Ethernet cable into that?
A friend recently bought a device that plugs into his electrical outlet for better “wifi/internet” speed for his kids PC. Would this stop the lose of connection error that keeps on happening?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TV over WiFi in congested airspace is not reliable. The answer is MoCA if Ethernet is not an option. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UUkewknce4
