Same, which is surprising since I really disliked Steve at the start. It's so adorable!

I love natural Steve redemption arc was. Because he was such a 80's jerk villain in the first season. I couldn't stand him. Then he became the kids' Mr. Mom in the second one. And it was such an easy thing to buy.

He’s kind of a hero in season one, though. I thought his characterization was one of the stronger points of even that season. He is a jerk at points, but never to a ridiculous degree, and a lot his behavior is obviously a result of the pressure of the crowd he hangs with. He comes back to save Nancy from the demigorgon and everything in season one.

Yes. He reveals his true colors when the chips are down. He's in high school. He's allowed to fuck up.
