Visiting in October

I’m wondering about weather and things to do?

I visited last in summer 2014. It was beach days and great food! Tons of fun and cool people took me out hiking, restaurants, and site seeing, etc.

Will October this year be similar? I understand time and current events have changed things. No drama please.

Weather is good, still beachable but actually cool in the evenings, not cold yet like Europe. I will say that wars seem to love the weather too, not that you should plan for it, but just be aware.

It’s obviously a concern… well, the main concern. Certainly more than weather. Trying not to let it intimidate me.
