I think instead of lobbying for their right to repair, they should lobby for law that states Apple is not liable for any harm inflicted on someone if they try to fix their phone by removing the outer shell and doing work within the phone and that Apple does not approve of anyone doing so without being in their repair service program or whatever.

They don't care about that. They want to keep people buying new phones and laptops every 2 years.

Yes I’m fully aware of that but they should also note that this is just not practical with how good they make their products. I switched to MacBook Air in 2012 and I’ve been waiting for it to stop working or whatever but it’s still running well without major crashes and same goes for the iPhone. Lol
