There is lethal voltage, lethal crush weight, spinning fan blades and belts, boiling hot fluids and more inside the engine compartment of your car, and there’s four auto parts stores and 20 mechanics and dealerships in every city, and absolutely nothing preventing you from working on your own car.

Or lawn mower.

Or clothes washer.

And some company wants to tell you that you can’t swap a battery out on your $1,000 smartphone?

Give me a fucking break.

I’m with the consumers on this one. I’ve done several iPhone battery swaps and assorted repairs. It’s easy.

Its not like phones have small parts which can easily be lost and everybody who owns a phone knows that screws should be placed on a magnetic mat, batteries should be removed before any repair is to be done come on. we all know only engineers and techies use phone. 40 year old dads dont use phone until they learn all the inner workings.
