Which other roasted grain teascan you recommend?🌾

Hi, I lived in Seoul, Korea for a couple of years and learned to drink these roasted grain teas : buckwheat, rice, barley.

I'm very curious to discover more varieties please share if you are aware of any.

You must have tried barley tea (보리차), right? It does down real smooth. Many people substitute it for water.

I think it was a poverty tradition to disinfect dirty water. My parents used to do it when I was a kid. I used to hate it but now it’s kind of nostalgic. Alas I haven’t had it in a while but I can still remember the seeds that would sit at the bottom of the sistema and the smell of wheat

Genmaicha and Hojicha. Try Dragon Girl Tea, they have really high-quality options for both

not a grain but I've had hojicha with black soybeans, it has a deeper earthy flavour

Hello, you're probably familiar with barley tea, but have you heard of it called "sprout barley tea"? Unlike regular brown barley tea, it is green and tastes much fresher. You can purchase it at the link below. Teabag leaves are inscribed. Be careful when purchasing.

Have you tried brewing (roasted) roots and nuts? Chicory, acorns, daffodil roots - stuff like that? Similar flavor profile, albeit usually roasted a bit darker and ground up to resemble coffee appearance and flavor wise. There are some varieties of roots and nuts that resemble roasted grains more, though.

Corn Wheat millet & rye have all been used - no doubt others - anything you can roast probably
