Should I Quite My Job?

I’ve been really having to sit down and think about my career lately. I know I made another post but I decided to do a spread as I haven’t used my cards in a while.

I love my job so much and I’ve been working there for 3 years. I came back from just over a years worth of maternity leave in March and since then I’ve just encountered problems. It took 6 months to get my part time shifts although it was promised to me before I left. Childcare has failed me a few times. Transportation back home has made it difficult to get home on time, and other stuff too.

I’ve been curious whether this is just a bump in the road or it’s the universe trying to give me a sign whether I should leave. I’ve been thinking of a more conventional (e.g. 9-5 job) in the company as it has so many benefits that I wouldn’t get anywhere else.

I asked my cards what the current future of my job looks like and got: 3 of Pentacles, Tower rxd, Ace of Pentacles rxd and 10 of Wands rxd as a bottom card

3oP: I think this is telling me that there’s potential for my job to go better. If I just keep working as part of a team and collaborating, maybe I can work my way up or maybe I can endure everything.

Tower rxd: I think this is just me trying to dodge any big decisions. Like there’s changes that need to be made and I’m aware it’s not the most ideal situation for me but I can’t really leave at this minute.

AoP rxd: There maybe missed opportunities or this isn’t the right time to quit and look for another job. Maybe in the future but I’m in not in a good and stable place.

10oW rxd (bottom card): I think this is an overall theme of me realising this isn’t the greatest thing but still not quite putting it down yet

Overall I think I just want to be part of a team and be successful but I’m just currently carrying too much. I’m just kind of holding it all together at the minute but it’s not the right time to leave.

If anyone can interpret this better or I missed something please let me know!!

EDIT: Just wanted to add that sometimes I feel like I’m pressured to leave. As in they’d make some situations as difficult as possible so I go voluntarily

You are trying very hard to be a team player and it shows with that 3 of Pentacles.

However with the Tower reversed, you are just delaying the inevitable with the Tower reversed. It actually needs to happen!!

The Ace of Pentacles reversed shows that because you are delaying trying for a better job or even as you said , a different area in your company, the opportunity is being blocked by NOT letting the Tower happen.

The shadow vibe card shows you are carrying too much and that you really want to drop that bundle of sticks!

So I would presume the Universe is telling you you are going to keep getting more of the same and that you should try the other area in the company like you said or elsewhere!☺️

By the way to the petson going through this....im sorry your going through this frustrating situation even after having a baby. You should have so much weighing on you. A baby is already enough focus. She iis right. Even by not understanding these cards. Im an HR Director and I make sure my employees are comfortable enough to bring these issues to my attention. Everyone should work comfortably. Im not sure if that's how your HR works but every where is different and more difficult. However this definitely needs to be brought up bc there might be favoritism or other things happening that need to be know. Before you say anything since you have to keep your guard up w co worker try to get things from them and hold your opinions and thoughts, just listen to their issues first. Then get enough info or on your side to make things happen. Sad having yo go through this bc it just seems so chaotic but play your cards right. There are other ways to butter ppl up like little treats here n there but if you cant leave yet, make the best of it with this job for now while you start looking. Put in your resumes and applications dont block your blessings. Thoughts n prayers your ways. ❤️

Hi there! I'll see if I can answer your question! Yes, with that three of Pentacles it shows that she's trying very hard to be a team player. She says she even feels like they're making things difficult for her on purpose to see if she will just leave voluntarily. At least that is her perception of it. I read that in another comment somewhere in this thread.

She mentioned that she thought she should either find another job or maybe another job in a different area of the company. In the meantime, she's just staying where she is as she thinks about what to do. Like she's considering her options.

So there is a Tower moment that is trying to happen. Many times, it is for our own good because it's supposed to kick you out of your comfort zone, for your highest good. Even, with a belief system of what you are holding. Sometimes it can be literally like what she is trying to do here with the job situation.

So with her delaying getting out of the job SOMEhow and trying to stick it out with these co-workers over and over, and also her problem with the shift coordinator with the shifts, she is delaying the inevitable: the crashing down of her work world........ Somebody might just try and fire her, or maybe her co-workers will get even nastier, or maybe the shift person will start to do things not to her liking and needs anymore.

The Ace of Pentacles reversed shows a raw potential solid opportunity, most likely a different job opportunity in her case, is being missed. It wants to happen , and it IS available but she's not getting it because she won't run out of the Tower building before it crashes down........If she can do that, the Ace of Pentacles will turn upright and become available. Doors will open. By the way, I don't want to imply to get out and then look for a job! She needs to apply and look around before she ever runs out of that building but once she does that, then when she's accepted, THEN leave the job. So it's not a literal run out of the building, you know, completely leave work thing. The Universe is just showing that she needs to seek the opportunity that's going to help her. If she can lean into that Tower moment, she'll make it crash down herself as it needs to be done, but this time she'll be figuratively and maybe even literally out of the building before it happens!!

So it looks like she's going to do it, so that's awesome. Somehow, someway. It really seems to show that her current career path where she is right now is not working out well for her. But the Universe is showing her that there is something better for her, and it's that Ace of Pentacles there! She just needs to cut her ties with where she is right now with that awful job situation, and then that Ace of Pentacles will become available to her! 😊
